Capiz Best Caves
Suhoton
Caves
The Suhoton Caves is located in Jamindan capiz with its
chambers that could be as big as hotel ballrooms in size. There, you could see
a mixture of stalagmites and formations that have been formed throughout the
years.
Suhot
Cave
Suhot Cave is yet another interesting site, primarily
because of the cold, crystal clear water located at its entrance. Suhot cave is
believed to be connected with the Badiang Cave of Duamaran because of the two
are basically found in the same mountain.
Pilar
Cave
Pilar Cave is thought to be burial site of Filipinos
long before the dawn of Spanish era because of the pot artifacts that were
discovered within its grounds.
Quipot
Cave
Quipot Cave, like Suhot Cave has a body of water near
it. The cave is actually made up of many chambers varying in size. Not for the
claustrophobic, some parts are only big enough for one person to fit through;
however, others could be as big as ballrooms and probably as meajestic.
Stalagmites and stalactites are also present within its chambers.
Igang
Cave
Igang Cave is highly appreciated because of its
lighting in the central chamber that allows tourists to better view its
chambers. The lower chambers are dark and are probably home to some of Batman’s
relatives as evidenced by the amount of guano carpeting the floor.
